@thebeth02 oh boy you’re playing hardball with me here 😭 this is SUCH a tough question
im not allowed to cop out and say everyone am i hahaha?
a lot of the time i really do just feel like I LOVE EVERYONE EQUALLY and whoever i love most just depends on whose focus episode haha.
but if i HAVE TO choose, i prooooobably love ezra the most?? im weak for a good protagonist and he really touches my heart strongly. i think you couple all the pain he’s gone through and his absolutely good heart and i was a complete goner.
but also there’s kanan (he and ezra are kind of a matched pair tbh)?? and hera? and zeb??? i really do love all of them fuck. hera’s right up there with ezra but that might be my ridiculously bad crush on her talking 🙈 oh to be kanan jarrus!!! she’s beautiful but also SUUUCH a good character.
also i love love LOVE ahsoka to bits as ever. it’s just. nice to see her again :3 (even tho now i miss her badly :c)
i actually like where they took her in rebels a lot, cos we see flashes of the “old ahsoka” but theyre overshadowed by how much everything else is weighing on her. most of all The Vader thing, but also Inquisitors, the general fact that the empire and her life Kinda sucks, and the added weight of having to be a mentor figure for ezra and kanan.
i like how, on a superficial level she seems very different but when she let’s go and when you take a closer look, she’s really not all that wildly different. she seemed odd at first but after thinking about it, it works for me. i love her a lot haha sorry for the tangent there 🤦♂️
for least favorite. hmmph saying the nasty baddies like pryce or fucking inquisitors or something seems like the easy way out. i hate maul cos he’s a nasty fuck but he’s still. cool and interesting in his own way unlike a lot of other villains
seventh sister is probably the villain i just straight up cannot stomach. i just found her interactions with ezra reprehensible and borderline pedophilic, at least in “there are always two” – and being her introduction that leaves and impression.
and well. i don’t hate him or anything but i do find sato to be frustratingly bland. i think they could’ve been way more interesting, although the way he frequently looks Complete Done with team ghost is p funny. compared with the mystery and relative unpredictability of “fulcrum” he’s just really underwhelming.
