I melted when Kanan brought up the fact that Mace Windu had told him stories about his battles on Ryloth. That meant it is canon that Mace sat down with little Caleb at some point and told him war stories. Maybe in an attempt to impress his grand-padawan?

I can imagine little 13 year old Caleb peppering him with all sorts of questions. :’) and Mace indulging him because 1) they’re good questions and 2) he’s a great kid :3
