hera and kanan ask sabine to do this for them, but no guilting or making her feel like she’s got no other choice – a huge contrast from the friction we see between sabine and her mother the next episode.

from hera’s reactions throughout the scene, you can tell that she’s in sabine’s corner the entire time, even though hera also truly believes getting the mandalorians in their corner will completely change the rebellion’s outlook. she brings up her own father, but not to say “if i could force myself to work with him for the good of the rebellion even after how badly he hurt me, you should be able to do the same.” hera’s letting sabine know that she understands why this is so hard

and kanan explicitly affirms it: they have the rebellion to worry about so they have to at least ASK. but if it’s something sabine isn’t up for, then that’s the end of it and they’ll find other ways. it’s a great scene, with the juxtaposition of how much sabine’s biological family has hurt her vs how THIS family supports her unconditionally
