i mean kanan the last padawan was pretty heavy too & deals w the same order 66 subject matter (💀), but even the first arc was at least about kanan against all odds finding his way..

so even tho the subject matter is soul crushing its overall story arc is more positive.

this is just vader mercilessly crushing his enemies PLUS the whole vader thing is new so you have him adjusting to the fact that… This is his life now and everything in revenge of the sith that hurt is COMPLETELY RAW.
