I’m still sore we didn’t get more with Mart and the other Iron Squadron kids. Fandom hated them, which might have contributed to their absence but sfghddsas I needed Mart’s reaction to his uncle dying I needed it okay.

@tarisilmarwen RIGHT?? WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THAT HEARTWARMING REUNION IF I DON’T GET A HEARTBREAKING RESPONSE TO HIS DEATH (has anyone attempted their take on it in fanfiction or fanart?)

and i feel you about those kids!!! like i get it they were portrayed as dumb obnoxious kids but they were sweet!!  and they were dumb and obnoxious because they were teenagers coping very badly with losing their homes (& probably families, although only mart is confirmed for that) just like ezra.

it would have been nice to revisit them and get to see them as a team still doing what they can for the galaxy and their home, but also more mature.  i wish we could have seen ezra bond with mart more ;;
