Honestly giving him a rest from a long long parade of war, suffering, and pain that’s basically been his life since he was seven in favor of getting some much needed time to grieve and heal while waiting in space for his family to bring him to his restored home is a pretty good ending for a war orphan and child soldier who was essentially forced into martyrdom for the greater good even though he wasn’t even 18 when he had to make that choice.
