whoops I forgot I saved this in my drafts so I wouldn’t excitedly spoil you during your watch of the finale, but I think that Thrawn mostly knows about the Jedi from his own insight into the clone war, but I think he knows about the Rebellion-era Jedi from Sidious, which is also why he seems to share his prejudices against them.

ah good point!! i remember when he talks about knowing anakin at some point during the clone wars in “thrawn” and seems to admire him (though perhaps that respect stems more from his military prowess)
