i love how the clone wars goes to frankly comical lengths to make sure anakin and grievous never meet face-to-face to keep continuity with their first meeting in revenge of the sith

but with anakin and dooku even tho the dialogue heavily implies they hadn’t faced each other since AotC, they fight a bunch of times in the clone wars so when anakin says my “my powers have doubled since we last met,” instead of a 3 years he’s saying his powers doubled in like, a few months 😹😹😹
