another reason i don’t rly get people feeling upset at thrawn ultimately losing in rebels is that it’s literal fucking fact that half the reason the rebels WERE able to pull off their miracle victory was that thrawn WASN’T EVEN ON LOTHAL FOR THE VAST MAJORITY OF THEIR FINAL SHOWDOWN

like man don’t you think if ANYTHING, that actually reinforces the idea that thrawn is every bit the near Insurmountable Threat he’s cracked up to be, and that getting him Temporarily Out Of The Way was our saving grace?
