i just don’t get how you can hate and dismiss mart and his friends as annoying when mart’s very clearly meant to be a mirror to ezra, and someone that ezra reaches out to not just because that’s the kind of person ezra is, but because ezra sees so much his younger self when he was alone in mart 😦

mart’s not dead set on fighting the empire on mykapo alone because he’s some arrogant child, he does it because it’s his HOME and after losing his family he can’t bring himself to give up and lose that as well :C

his appearances in the last few episodes of season 4 are really fun but i really wish we got to see:

• more of iron squadron and how they’ve grown as people and as a team since connecting with mart’s uncle and the larger rebellion
• more development of the connection between mart and ezra. we see the groundwork laid out in iron squadron, but i want to see more of them!! it’d make ezra choosing mart to entrust his secret trump card plan even better!!
• HIS REACTION TO HIS UNCLE JUN SACRIFICING HIS LIFE TO SAVE PHOENIX SQUADRON AFTER THEY ONLY JUST RECONNECTED OH MY GOD HOW IS THAT NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED!!
