tfw your favorite baseball player gets off to a terrible start, hits the disabled list due to migraines, while nearly finished with his rehab assignment freakishly hits a foul ball off his toe, badly breaks it and misses more time, is reactivated from the disabled list WELL before his injury is actually healed and plays even worse because he was playing injured, returns to the disabled list, then after he is FINALLY healthy again is optioned to aaa for the rest of the year where he pays very well, only to not even get a fucking SEPTEMBER CALL UP because the team’s front offices knows damn well if they deliberately suppress his service time they get an extra year of team control :(((
