xena has a lot of issues and might be pretty dated but, but it sorta blows my mind that almost two decades later there still isn’t really a show like it, with a lesbian couple and their bond as THE primary focus of a long running show — that ISN’T so beholden to censors (whose limits it constantly pushed)
