Look Si Spurrier had Hera shoot a cat in her first appearance and then two issues later talk about “that poor tooka” clearly he doesn’t know how to write consistent characterization at all so he just makes all the characters terrible people with the occasional “oh yeah i’m supposed to have redeeming qualities” thrown in. Like Sana acting like a murderous asshole the entire time and then suddenly she says “there’s rebels on that planet” and Tolvan was just gonna let Aphra die.

I can stomach a fair bit of nonsense if I force myself to ignore it and focus on the things i enjoy, but man, even I’VE got a limit.

It especially puts a foul taste in my mouth that you’ve got some dumbass white man straight up butchering the ONE asian lesbian lead in star wars, not to mention her supporting cast and it’s just. UGH. please do me a favor and get someone QUA-LI-FIED and COM-PE-TENT.
