honestly homophobic writing was a lot easier to cope with when we didn’t have writers claiming up and down they care while demonstrating the exact opposite with what they write and when it wasn’t apparent that they KNOW the bare minimum lgbt fans ask of them and still knowlingly enact every homophobic trope in the book, but swear they’re doing us a favor 😦

how fucking demonic and soulless do you have to be to lie to the CHILDREN who watch your KID’S SHOW about how ~meaningful and important lgbt representation is to you?? and make empty promises to get their hopes up, knowing full well your rotten show will give the exact opposite of what they need and absolutely crush them?? a week or so of completely undeserved good publicity?

i can’t even comprehend how morally bankrupt you have to be to mess with kids’ emotions like that…
