i do think there’s also plenty to enjoy from hera’s appearances in doctor aphra – like it’s WICKED COOL they’ve got her training starfighter pilots, based in a trade federation battleship no less!!! and i just love SEEING her, PERIOD!

but there’s still a lot of not-so-great dialogue that you’ve gotta look past. and it’s frustrating because i think it’d be SO EASY to remedy it with a quick Who Is Hera Syndulla crash course

it’s just so strange because we’ve SEEN how she responds to duplicitous and er morally dubious criminal types who cross her and seriously piss her off multiple times (Hondo, Lando, Azmorigan). so how fucking hard is it to take that and extrapolate a believable response to aphra’s personal brand of mischief????
