honestly adults who rag on star wars stuff OBVIOUSLY MADE FOR KIDS that is deliberately silly and doesn’t take itself too seriously cos it’s meant to make kids laugh need to get the f*ck over themselves.
who CARES if you think it’s stupid and not funny, you’re clearly not the intended audience in the first place and NOT EVERY STAR WARS THING HAS TO APPEAL TO EVERY SINGLE FAN. JESUS.

this book is wicked cool, completely spooky and exciting and my ONE question is……. So what about Volume II?
in my personal opinion the top 5 libraries in pittsburgh for star wars related material are:
all slightly different focuses to their collections, but all great!!
the sad thing is im moving away from the main library in pittsburgh which is like heaven on earth to me 😿
me picking a new apartment: genuinely taking into consideration which areas have a library that caters to My Interests™ (AKA STAR WARS)
okay im quitting my job tomorrow cos its just temporary before i start a much better one monday
BUUUU~~UUT i wanna see chris archer’s first start as a pirate tonight so should i just say fuck it and quit a day early ? 😅

Cultural appropriation is a form of colonialism where cultural elements are copied from a minority culture by members of a dominant culture and used outside of their original context. The original meaning is lost or distorted, and such displays are viewed as disrespectful, or even desecration, by the originating culture.
Cultural appropriation differs from equal cultural exchange due to an imbalance of power from oppression. The imitator can temporarily “play” an “other” without experiencing the daily discrimination faced by that people. Traditions, symbols, and art with deep meaning may be reduced to “exotic” fashion or toys.
