↳ kanan messing up the names of the crew (forgetting Chopper) in front of Cham Syndulla.

I know people always attribute his nervousness to be a Nervous BoyfriendTM, and I 100% agree that’s part of it…

But I remember the creators saying that it’s also because Cham fought with Windu back in the Clone Wars. It’s canon that Windu used to tell stories to Caleb. The creators said that Kanan is really excited/nervous to meet Cham because, in his mind, it’s one of the last connections he has with his master and grand master. 

Wait, and why did Chopper want to be introduced anyway? Doesn’t he already Cham? Cham recognized him as “that old astromech”…

Chop is petty and easily offended that way ❤

but more importantly, my heart is so full over how beautiful the second cap is.  

in “homecoming” cham couldn’t even accept that hera is competent or respect the cause she chooses to fight for.  by now, not only does cham fully respect and support hera, when hera makes a mistake and the mission doesn’t turn out as planned he doesn’t criticize or berate hera one bit. he just gives her the warmest look – to me it’s a mix of love, pride and relief that his daughter is safe – and tells her It’s okay.  even he – ryloth’s hero!! – has failed before, and he doesn’t think of her any less for it 💜
