ouch 😦

i really hate seeing sabine feeling like she’s getting nowhere and might never figure it out. just the WAY she said this, it feels like those times where you say what you’re feeling in the most hurtful way you can think of, because you want the other person to know how much YOU’RE hurting. harsh words, but they do the trick. it’s the push kanan needed to stop and figure out what’s NOT working and what WILL work for sabine.

for kanan, feeling completely out of his depth as a teacher isn’t exactly new. the first go around with ezra definitely wasn’t easy. it hurts to hear this from sabine, for sure, but he doesn’t have the overwhelming self doubt he did a couple of years ago. instead of feeling like he’s not fit to teach sabine, kanan’s able to refocus his efforts and figure out what he’s missing (with a little help from hera! :P)

and ezra’s reaction is beautiful and hurts. he hates seeing two people he cares about so much at odds. and it hurts to hear that from sabine, because he knows better than anyone that even though it’s never easy, kanan wants nothing more than to see her succeed. ezra’s been in sabine’s position before and it sucks to see her feeling so miserable and helpless

it’s PRECIOUS because ezra means it 100% :‘3 he believes in sabine and has always admired her MANY talents (even if today sabine’s not in the mood to hear it) it always make me smile. sabine deserves that kind of whole hearted support from EVERYONE

i’d probably have said “badly traumatized” first and foremost, but hey, mandalorian works too haha. call it a perfect storm!

kanan’s doing what he can, and bless hera for helping him work out what’s holding them back. it’s really only right that it takes the whole family working together to help sabine succeed in this 🙂
