this really, really upsets me….. How can you explicitly say you’re not “a dyke” yet Still think it’s acceptable to use that word at all??? its unbelievably homophobic, ignorant and a complete slap in the face to lesbians who are actually targeted by that slur.
im actually incensed and extremely angry about this and i couldn’t just let it go and not say something, but im NOT AT ALL in the mood for a fight and people never fucking listen unless you coddle them anyways so i responded WAY NICER than i actually feel.
i just have to vent. why is “don’t say type or even fucking THINK slurs you’re not targeted by” such a difficult concept?????
and if you who said that poke around my blog, since i did reply so you might! – this is how i ACTUALLY feel about what you’ve said and i hope you understand now why using that word is wrong!!
