it really gets me to think that when leia let’s jo keep in contact with his parents in the first order despite all the security risks it poses to the resistance, she’s probably thinking about her own son ;____;
and it was really good of her and admiral ackbar to not make jo completely forsake his family to join the resistance and also never ask him to act as a spy on his parents and the first order. he’s still just a teenage kid, so it was really kind.
