GOD I’M IN LOVE WITH THIS COMPLETELY SELF ASSURED AND CONFIDENT IN HER ABILITIES HERA. ALMOST VERGING ON COCKY AND I LOVE IT

and kanan and hera. they trust each other completely and without question. it definitely didn’t NEED to be spelled out – it’s well apparent in their actions – BUT GOD IT’S SO SATISFYING TO HEAR THEM SAY IT OUT LOUD

never fun to see hera feeling so lost :c even the anger and passion hurts, when it’s coupled with the loss that caused it and the uncertainty hera’s now feeling.

i love kanan assuring hera that what she’s doing is right, but i also wish we got a chance to see hera and ezra speak together. they had a lot of the same worries, and it would have been awesome to see them work those feelings out together

just like with ezra, kanan just /knows/ when something’s up with hera. he’s so attune to her feelings, i don’t even think he needs any kind of connection with the force to catch onto that. they’ve been together for so long and been through so much together that kanan and hera can tell when something’s bothering the other every time :’)

I just finished the A New Dawn tie in novel for Rebels so now it’s time to queue up a bunch of screencaps bc Star Wars continues to be ridiculous no matter the medium.

@rainglazed you kidding? THE GREAT KANAN JARRUS HAS NO CHILL AND HAS NO FILTER! 😁👍🏼 which makes sense, giving the life he lived/suffered. Kanan in A New Dawn is 100000% done with the galaxy, until he meets Hera and then he meets his Space Son Year’s later.

Also I am also reading A New Dawn (I’m on chapter 7) and I love this side of Kanan so far 😂 he can be such a dick but I find it hilarious and understandable seeing how much he’s lost and been through.

Listen L I S T E N I started screencapping every time Kanan was all “ohoho I don’t help people I’m a loner and a tough dude that only looks after myself” before promptly going to Help With A Thing and now my screencaps are just a solid block of text scrolling down.

@rainglazed Kanan trying very hard to convince himself that he doesn’t need anyone, because in his mind, he’s better off alone seeing as who he is underneath all the flirting and stubbornness, is a Jedi and he doesn’t want that status to come back and hurt others.

Which in reality Kanan is the one person that needs to be surrounded by people. Being isolated only makes him worse and makes his thoughts even darker of survivors guilt. That’s another thing he and Ezra have in common.

They both need to be enveloped, encased by people that love them or else they can’t function properly. Which makes their bond as father and son so much stronger because they are literally connected and can give each other that love and stability in a regular basis.
