I’m designing a DnD character for my next campaign that is basically Kanan (his name is Qalev but he goes by Kain). I’ve been trying to draw him based on Kanan. I should try to draw him on a dragon/horse for the campaign. Too bad I suck at drawing. I’m really more of a writer than an artist…

😮 that’s so cool!! you should totally give it your best shot anyways!  even tho horses and dragons are probably PARTICULARLY hard to draw haha….. never turn down a challenge right?

I agree. And Mart does feel kind of thrown into the finale without having been developed enough.

@lessattitudemorealtitude i feel that way with jai as well.  i’m glad to see both of them back but i’m almost split between feeling glad they weren’t abandoned altogether and feeling let down they felt more thrown in for a familiar face than actually given the development i’d have liked

i understand it because there’s only so much space they had and a lot of ground to cover, but it kinda makes you wish for a bit longer season overall so that they had the time to touch on that!

this season feels like running a marathon while riding a roller coaster at the same time with no time to pause so it’d be a relief to have some moments to take a breath and also tie up loose ends with more minor characters haha

Understandable. My mode of coping is way more masochistic. I watched everything I could that I KNEW would make me cry over Kanan. Spark of the Rebellion, Path of the Jedi, etc. And of course, Jedi Night through World Between Worlds. Now I can more or less watch all of rebels without pain because I put myself through all the pain in the very beginning.

@lessattitudemorealtitude i just know i’m not ready for that. i burst out crying in public just at the SOUND OF HIS VOICE so i know i need a bit more time before i can handle that.  like i want and love the pain but i dunno if i can do it?

replied to your post “yeaaaaah i don’t think i can handle watching old episodes right now…”

Depends. How much do you like crying?

i love crying lol but i don’t think i could handle it.  im already spending so much time forcing my brain to think about ANYTHING ELSE so i don’t get TOO upset.

i mentioned this to @rebelsfromstars haha but big coping method for me is to rewatch other things that broke my heart as a distraction because i still get to FEEL as sad as i am but its about things i’ve already come to terms with so its a lot less raw.  gives me something else to focus on.

replied to your post “but was i supposed to believe hera never said that to kanan before????…”

Oh, there are an uncountable number of posts/articles discussing this. I have a few long analysis posts of my own. My own theory is basically that verbal isn’t Hera’s main love language.

Of course, in the end, it’s just the decision the writers went with….

deep analysis or no i think it would feel a little silly and awkward to just. suddenly start openly acknowledging it without any sort of……. evolution for the characters to back up “WHY /NOW/”  idk how many ways there were to make it MEANINGFUL instead of just like “SURPRIIIIISE we’ve decided to stop playing coy with our viewers :)”

whether it actually works or why it went that way… is a whole other question! 🙂

I think Chopper told him everything but Obi Wan decided to appear as if he was a ~mysterious Jedi master TM~

theangeloffate replied to your post “do you think obi-wan knew ezra’s name because he’s a MYSTEEEERIOUS…”

I’m leaning more on the fact that Chopper told Obi everything but Obi wanted to stay all mysterious because he’s the great Obi Wan Kenobi and is dramatic

@lessattitudemorealtitude @theangeloffate haha very true

if chop’s giving obi-wan the team’s life story, i can’t help imagining obi-wan’s feelings when he realizes that sweet kid with all the questions caleb dume is still alive out there doing everything in his power to protect the galaxy and even becoming an amazing teacher with his own padawan :’’’)
