Tag: sorry to give such a lackluster response

Honestly, in a twisted way I’m glad they did it. Death is awful and horrible and sometimes unbearable but it’s a part of life and you can’t shield kids from it. I’d prefer something that let its characters grieve and blame themselves and get angry and learn to deal with it, that teaches kids that it hurts and it’ll hurt for a while and that’s natural, over the whole “Anakin felt sad about his mother and it made him EVIL” thing.

@aspiringwarriorlibrarian we can learn to grieve with some other character not kanan 😭
