what is this from?
The Wrath of Darth Maul. Also known as his exceptionally tragic, absolutely horrifying backstory. It was written in 2012 in conjunction with his arc in TCW; while it’s considered Legends now, I tend to think it exists in quasi-canon given it was intended to complement his arcs in the show.
It’s also heartbreaking and I can’t imagine anyone reading it and coming away from it without signing up for the Darth Maul Defense Squad. XD
I did a partial recap of the first several chapters here. Like, straight up, warned for everything except sexual assault.
