that adds up with what i was thinking, cos my general idea was that:

• sabine was born in 21 BBY, the same year that death watch went from kinda underground shady organization to openly stirring up trouble
• we know ursa was involved with death watch all the way up to when pre vizsla is killed by maul in 19 BBY, and that she was actually present when that happened, per “protector of concord dawn” rebels recon
• i think its highly unlikely ursa paused for 9 months in the middle of all that to have another kid LOL (if she even saw alrich and sabine much at all!)
• i don’t think we know what extent ursa was involved in the mandalorian civil war following pre vizsla’s death, but my gut says she would have seen it through to the end, barring unforeseen circumstances like severe injury (or, well, unplanned pregnancy lol)
• which takes us right up to the siege of mandalore in 19 BBY, the same time as revenge of the sith AND of course around when EZRA was born
• i think it makes the most sense if tristan is born AFTER all that, so my guess would be he’s born around 18 BBY and is ~1yr younger than ezra and 3yrs younger than sabine

that all fits right into the 2-4yrs younger than sabine range you suggested and also makes him believably old enough to be one of gar saxon’s commandos.  plus his involvement with saxon was for mostly political reasons, so gar saxon bringing a 15/16yr old tristan into his fold as a means of exerting further dominance over clan wren completely checks out tbh.
