its kinda sad that even in death maul cant find peace

Honestly, i feel like in death he seemed to have found some kind of peace. He seemed content sidiouses demise was seemingly set in stone due to chosen one existing. And he didn’t seem too upset with dying right then and there in Kenobi’s arms (honestly same).

But that’s just my interpretation.

more peace he had before definitely.

what was sad for me is that his heart was still so set on /revenge/ even in his last moments. that made it feel sort of bittersweet. like even though he can die feeling content in the knowledge that sidious will meet his end, i think it’s sad that he still is coming from such a place of rage. maul sees vengeance vs the hope that obi-wan sees in luke.

personally, while he doesn’t fully let go of revenge, the fact that he said “he will avenge us” seems to me that he did at least let go of his anger against obi-wan, and by forgiving obi-wan at least, he did find the smallest bit of redemption.
