im hardcore in the “make zare leonis and dhara part of the resistance” camp because 1) I LOVE HIM 2) he, merei’s family and FUTURE RESISTANCE ADMIRAL u.o. statura’s family fought together to liberate garel so HE KNOWS PEOPLE 😜

also zare, with his personal experiences with brendol hux’s earliest pre-cursor to what became the first order’s stormtrooper program, and dhara, as a force sensitive woman who went through terrible things at the hands of dark siders as a teenager, would both be REAAAAALLY interesting people for finn and rey to meet.

SO, according to the ‘dawn of rebellion’ sourcebook the LEONIS family and the STATURA family aka RESISTANCE ADMIRAL STATURA’S family formed the garel city rebel cell

point being zare and dhara leonis have direct canonical connections to the resistance and they should bring them back 🙂
